  I live very near one of this companies construction sites. I have been very patient until recently. I have had them take out my mailbox, which they did fix. I have dealt with the noise very patiently, which at times I probably should not have. What made me become very impatient is the clear lack of understanding, respect, and common decency that the individuals that work for this company and their contractors lack. Not long ago I found my water hose laid out in my yard and it was on. I thought it may have been one of my children. A few days later I get a text message from the construction manager, Gordon, that his contractors had trespassed in my yard and used my water hose that day. I came home from work several hours after getting the text to find my hose laid out in my yard again and the water still running. To top this off, the hose sits next to my child's bedroom window. Here recently we have had a great deal of difficulty getting our vehicles in and out of the driveway and cars (including fire trucks) have had difficulty using the roadway due to the fact that they are parked on the road taking up over half the road. I have asked them to use the public parking, which is a very short walk from the construction site. They have failed to do this and I have called the sheriffs office and generation homes multiple times recently to address the issue. Their contractors have gone so far as to talk badly to me when I ask them to move out of the road. I just asked the construction manager, Gordon, to move out of the road, of which he has failed to do also.He clearly lacks an understanding of my concerns and he, along with the contractors and generation homes, has ZERO respect for those that live near their construction sites. If your neighbor has hired this company to build them a home, make sure that you set clear boundaries and expectations from the beginning. These people clearly don't care about the people living around their sites and their concerns for safety. I have the picture and text documentation to back up my claims and at this point. They removed the no parking sign in front of the house they are building, clearly at their convenience. A no parking sign had been there for years prior to that. I have had to ask people to move so that we could get out of our driveway. The owners were also not aware that any of this was going on until I made them aware of it. Moral of the story is that if you are paying this company to build a home in an already established community, you may want to set expectations. Neighbors also should do the same. I have been more than patient, but given the amount of disrespect that has happened lately I now have to caution people that may have to deal with this company. I don't like to complain and I am actually a very nice person, but I do not allow people to push me around like they are doing.

  My husband and I built our Generations home in the St Augustine Beach community of Whispering Oaks. We have been in our home since November of 2014 and absolutely love it. Shane, our project manager, Kim our interior designer, and Cora, the company president, made the experience so easy. We have built homes before but never has it been so easy as it was with Generation. We believe our home is made of quality construction by quality builders. We met quite a few of the sub-contractors and were very impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. All in all it was a great experience and we would not hesitate to build with Generation Homes again in the future.

  We were so fortunate to of found Cora and the Generation family!! Our building experience was exciting and enjoyable from choosing the lot to picking out tiles. So many quality finishes were standard. We live out of town and we were sent updates and photos during the whole process. What a wonderful feeling when the first time you see your new home completed, its better and more beautiful than expected. Thank you Generation! Jeff and Lisa F
